German Infantry, Tripoli, 1941

Here we see German infantry marching through Tripoli, early in 1941 (Operation Sonnenblume). These troops probably belong to Reconnaissance Battalion III, the first unit to arrive. Their ship arrived on 14 February 1941, and were ready to parade through the city early on 15 February.
